Dr. Connie Shim Middleton’s journey began on the southwest side of Fort Wayne, where she grew up and attended Homestead High School. Her formative years in Fort Wayne set the foundation for a future dedicated to education and community service.

After high school, Dr. Shim pursued higher education at DePauw University, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Her academic journey continued at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2012. Her time at dental school was marked by significant achievements, including the prestigious Isaac Knapp Dental Education Foundation Scholarship, a testament to her academic excellence and commitment to dentistry.
